Race Features for 2009:
New Course: Due to construction on the River Trail the
course will be entirely on Downtown streets.
The new course is wider, flatter, faster and is UASTF
CERTIFIED. The new course will go in front of the State
Capitol and State Christmas Tree. If we get snow and ice
(like we have for many years) the downtown streets will be
clear and there will be no icy bridges to cross.
Throw away chip system: This year we will be using the
D-Tag chip timing system so there is no worry about losing
your chip or turning them in after the race.
Timing mats at start and finish: The runners time will
not start until they cross the mats at the start so
everyone's time will be accurate.
T-Shirts: A long-sleeved, technical t-shirt is included with
the standard entry fee.
