BWL Hometown Power 5K
5K run/walk
Saturday, August 15th, 2009 - Start time: 9:00 a.m.
Mission: All funds raised will support Capitol Area Community Services/BWL Pennies for Power Program.
Location: Race will start at BWL Customer Service Center on Haco Dr, head across Penn Ave through the
Hazel/Penn complex to the River Walk, turn around and return on the same route to the finish, at the BWL
Customer Service Center.
Course: Accurate 3.1-mile run. The course will give participants the chance to run briefly through the Hazel/Penn
complex of the BWL.
A FREE Kids race event will be held in the BWL Customer Service Parking Lot following the 5K. A medal for all
participating kids will be provided.

Packet Pickup: Friday August 14th 5:00 to 8:00 pm in the Board Room at 1232 Haco Dr.
Entry fee: Postmarked by August 8 - $18
Race day (8/15/09) at BWL Customer Service Center - $25
Run Awards: Special Medals to overall and masters (over age 40) champions,
Medals to top 3 places in each age group.
Age groups: 12-and-under, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,
40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, 80-over
Race results: Results of the Run and will be posted online at www.playmakers.com
